Tips to protect your skin from the harmful effects of the sun
(back)
- Limit your exposure to the sun between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. when
ultraviolet rays are more intense
- Use sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 15 or higher.
When outside, reapply sunscreen every two hours, even on cloudy
days.
- If you normally get sunburn easily or expose to outdoor for
long hours, use sun care products with a higher SPF such as SPF35
or SPF45 for better protection
- Use after sun products that contain vitamin E and aloe to replenish
the lost moisture after sun exposure.
- Protect your children by keeping them out of the sun, minimizing
sun exposure, and applying sunscreens beginning at six months
of age.
